SIMON LYNGE – and the Martial Hearts

You can clearly feel the Greenlandic roots of Simon Lynge though his music where the vocal harmonies and the lyrics inspire us all to become better human beings and take better care of planet earth.

His fans were shocked when they learned that the 39-year old musician had cut himself with a kitchen knife so deeply that he didn’t know if he would be able to play again. Luckily, he’s now back on stage after an intense period of rehabilitation and ready to overwhelm us with his intense guitar playing and emotional lyric.

Lynge’s fourth album, Deep Snow, was released November 2018. The album was produced together with his longtime friend and colleague, Richard Lobb, in an isolated cottage in Wales. The resulting product is a deep and poetic album with lyrics that emphasize the nature and the collective wellbeing. Deep Snow was regarded by the Danish music magazine, GFR, as one of Denmark’s best albums in 2018.

Hopefully, Simon Lynge will also treat us to some of his hits from his three prior albums, The Future, The Absence of Fear, and The Map of Your Life, when he visits Nordatlantens Brygge…
